Your Information And Choices
Effective 20 October 2026. Living Faith Church Arepo1 uses account information to operate this church website and the features you choose.
What We Collect
We collect your sign-in email, name and the profile details you provide, such as phone number, birthday day and month, optional photo, church unit interests and area. We do not ask for a birth year in the birthday profile. A ride booking may include a pickup area or, only with your separate consent, an exact location. Requests, saved content and notification preferences are also stored when you use them.
Why We Use It
We use these details to run your account, respond to church requests, coordinate rides, manage units, show content you choose to share and send service messages you request. Authorised church staff can access information needed for their duties. Unit Admins see only requests for their own unit. The church office can review member records. Public visitors see only material made public under the relevant sharing choices.
Celebrations And Photographs
Your birthday is not announced unless you turn on birthday celebrations and choose an audience for your name and birthday. Your account photo appears in a birthday card only when you also allow it in celebrations and choose an audience for the photo. Church staff can check this photo choice for naming and anniversary posts. Posts based on photos supplied outside an account still require the church team to check each person’s wishes before publication.
Who Helps Operate The Site
Account and storage providers process information to operate this site. Sign-in through Google also involves Google. Transport details are visible to the people involved in a booking and authorised transport staff. We do not offer your profile as a public member directory unless you choose a visible audience.
Control And Retention
Change your profile, sharing choices and celebration settings in Your Account. Ride location is chosen separately for each booking. You can remove a profile, withdraw its sharing permissions or delete private account data in account settings. Some minimal audit and account records may remain where needed to protect the service or meet legal duties. Public copies made by others cannot always be recalled.
Questions And Requests
Use the Church Contact Page or speak with the church office to ask about your information, request a correction or raise a privacy concern.
