01 / Our Beginnings

Our Early Beginnings & Pioneer Leadership

Our story started at Amazing Grace Plaza, beside Wisebuyers Supermarket in Arepo. This location first served as a service centre.

In August 2020, Pastor Edward Eke was appointed as the Resident Pastor for Arepo. Through door-to-door evangelism, strong prayer and complete selflessness, he built the spiritual foundation for the church.

On November 6, 2020, we received the go-ahead. The next day, over 50 committed adults came together on Saturday to prepare the space, buy equipment and decorate.

Then on Sunday, November 8, 2020, we held our first service with 105 pioneer members.

02 / A Shared Vision

Built On Sacrifice, Love And Order

From the start, our members took ownership of the vision. The pioneer members provided worship and administrative equipment: sound systems, musical instruments, media gear, chairs and office furniture.

To support our growing number of members, key service units were formed under the pioneer leaders. These included:

Hospitality

Deaconess Mosunmola Adeyanju

Choir

Deacon Adeyanju Amos

Decoration

Mrs. Adeshoga

Technical

Engr. Adewale Olawoye

Children’s Church

Deaconess Uche Arise

Over time, our operations grew into ministries. Today we have:

• Protocol
• Evangelism
• Elijah Squad
• Youth Alive Fellowship
• Pastorate
• Security
• Gilead Team (Medical)
• Transportation
• Believers’ Foundation Unit

03 / Room To Grow

Prophetic Breakthrough & Expansion

Through love, unity and consistent evangelism, the church grew both in numbers and in strength. We went from 105 members at the start to a thriving assembly of more than 700 members.

In January 2024, under the leadership of then Resident Pastor, Pastor Samuel Adeshina, God gave a word from Isaiah 54:1 to 3. This moment marked a breakthrough, launching us into a new season.
