Showers Of Blessings

Congregational Hymn

Verse 1

“There shall be showers of blessing”:

This is the promise of love;

There shall be seasons refreshing,

Sent from the Saviour above.

Refrain

Showers of blessing,

Showers of blessing we need;

Mercy drops round us are falling,

But for the showers we plead.

Verse 2

“There shall be showers of blessing”:

Precious reviving again;

Over the hills and the valleys,

Sound of abundance of rain.

Refrain

Showers of blessing,

Showers of blessing we need;

Mercy drops round us are falling,

But for the showers we plead.

Verse 3

“There shall be showers of blessing”:

Send them upon us, O Lord!

Grant to us now a refreshing;

Come, and now honour Thy Word.

Refrain

Showers of blessing,

Showers of blessing we need;

Mercy drops round us are falling,

But for the showers we plead.

Verse 4

“There shall be showers of blessing”:

Oh, that today they might fall,

Now as to God we’re confessing,

Now as on Jesus we call!

Refrain

Showers of blessing,

Showers of blessing we need;

Mercy drops round us are falling,

But for the showers we plead.

Parakletos: Monthly Prevailing Prayer Meeting

Empowered By The Spirit, Equipped To Impact Our World!

PARAKLETOS is a Greek word that describes the Holy Spirit as our Helper, Comforter, Advocate, Counsellor, and the One who comes alongside to strengthen and assist us.

The Promise Of The Comforter

In John 14:18, Jesus promised that He would not leave us as orphans but would come to us. He also promised to send the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, who would abide with us and empower us for the fulfilment of God’s purpose.

Throughout the month of October, we have been reminded of the importance of the Holy Spirit and the necessity of experiencing His fullness in our Christian walk.

Join US In Prayer

The Gideonites of LFC Arepo 1 warmly invite you to the October edition of our Monthly Prevailing Prayer Meeting, a powerful two-hour marathon of prayer as we tarry in God’s presence, seek the help of the Holy Spirit, and receive divine empowerment to make a lasting impact in our world for Christ.

When the Bishop declared this year as our year of Double Portion, Next Levels, and the ingathering started, he said the ingathering season was the platform on which we would take delivery of our Double Portion, Next Levels miracles. I and my family keyed into it. Meanwhile, we had two graduates from Covenant University, who were trusting God for jobs in multinational companies. They applied for jobs without contacting any man for favours. Moreover, the Bishop always said, ‘God does not rob any man. When God gives you an opportunity, it is for Him to bless you.’ God proved Himself faithful! He gave my two children jobs in multinational companies! Double Portion is a reality in my family. To God alone be all the praise!

Our Commission

The Liberation
Mandate.

Our Mandate for ministry was received from the LORD Himself in an 18-hour vision. During this vision, a commission was received from the LORD to liberate mankind in all facets of human existence, to restore broken destinies, and to bring healing to the sick and brokenhearted.

This was the Divine mandate received from the LORD:

The hour has come to liberate the world from all oppressions of the devil through the preaching of the word of faith, and I am sending you to undertake this task.

The mandate received by
Bishop David Oyedepo

Discover The 12 Pillars

The foundation of our faith.

Twelve Pillars.
One Unshakable God.

The truths that shape who we are. Each rooted in the living Word.

12 pillars of our commission

  1. Faith

    “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” (1 John 5:4; Ephesians 6:16)

  2. The Word

    “Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power...” (John 1:1 to 12; Hebrews 1:3)

  3. The Supernatural

    “The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.” (Psalm 82:5 to 7; John 3:8)

  4. Praise

    “And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah: and they were smitten.” (2 Chronicles 20:20 to 22; Psalm 67:1 to 7; Psalm 149:1 to 9)

  5. The Holy Spirit

    “And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” (Acts 1:1 to 8; Isaiah 10:27)

  6. Prosperity

    “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” 3 John 2. “Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad...” (3 John 2; Psalm 35:27; Zechariah 1:17)

  7. Vision

    “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” (Proverbs 29:18; Jeremiah 29:11)

  8. Prayer

    “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us.” (1 John 5:14)

  9. Healing

    “That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.” (Isaiah 53:3 to 4; Jeremiah 8:22; Matthew 8:17)

  10. Wisdom

    “And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the Lord is his treasure.” (Proverbs 24:3 to 4; Isaiah 33:6)

  11. Consecration

    “Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, the Lord knoweth them that are his. And let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” (Hebrews 12:14; 2 Timothy 2:19)

  12. Success

    “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” (Joshua 1:8 to 10)
